Join us on Sunday, November 5th, to see what is happening in the life of our church community! We'd love to meet and introduce you to ways that we are here to serve as part of the Wayne community every day!
What to expect?
Our Sunday morning services are at 8:05, 9:30 & 11 a.m. The first two services are led by our choir & orchestra in a more traditional format; the 11 a.m. service is led by a praise team that leans a little more contemporary with a full band. There's no dress code, so wear what you feel comfortable in—whether a shirt & tie or jeans & T-shirt. Don't have a Bible? No worries! We've got plenty to go around. Not sure what words to sing? We've got it covered with lyrics projected on the sanctuary screens and, during the 8:05 & 9:30 services, books with the words in them as well.
We'll also be serving brunch on November 5th from 9:15 a.m. - 1 p.m. in Bldg. F-100 (the gym, and it's free!).
What about my kids?
We want you to bring the whole family! We have programming that's designed with your kids in mind on Sunday mornings at the following times:
- 8:05 | 9:30 | 11 a.m.- Nursery care in Bldg. A (infants born after 10.31.15)
- 9:30 | 11 a.m. - Sunday school for kids age 2 (born before 10.31.15) - through grade 6 (Bldgs. B & C)
- 9:30 a.m.- Middle-school & high-school students meet in Bldg. F-100 (gym)
If you feel better about keeping your kids with you, that's okay too! Kids are always welcome in our services and there is seating available right outside the sanctuary if you've got one who's feeling a little restless.
I've never been to Church of the Saviour; how will I know where to go?
Don't worry, we'll have people here to help you! We know that coming to a new place can seem overwhelming, but we'll be ready to direct you in the parking lot and all over campus to find the building or room you're looking for. We even have a map if you need one!
Have other questions? Send us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org and we'll get right back to you.
How can I help?
If you're an attendee or member of Church of the Saviour & you'd like to help people feel welcome to our campus during the Open House, we need help in the following areas:
